Guide Supervisor – Safari & Conservation Leader

About the role

As a Guide Supervisor at Anantara Kafue Tent Camp, you will lead daily safari experiences, ensuring guest safety, education, and unforgettable moments while supporting conservation initiatives in Kafue National Park.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and guide game drives, walking safaris, and river excursions.
• Share expert knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, and conservation efforts with guests.
• Mentor, train, and support junior rangers and trackers.
• Maintain equipment, vehicles, and compliance with park regulations.
• Conduct wildlife research, monitoring, and record sightings.
• Develop and deliver interpretive programmes to enhance guest education.
• Collaborate with local communities on sustainable tourism and anti‑poaching strategies.

Required profile

• Relevant diploma or degree.
• 3–5 years guiding experience in a Big‑Five or comparable wilderness environment.
• Registration with the Zambian Department of National Parks and Wildlife (advantageous).
• Valid first‑aid certification.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent communication and guest‑focused approach.
• Passion for conservation, wildlife, and storytelling.
