Junior Human Capital Associate (Outsourcing)

About the role
TopFloor is looking for a motivated Junior Human Capital Associate to deliver high‑impact HR services for its outsourcing clients. You will support recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll, compliance and employee engagement while upholding the company’s values.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct recruitment and selection, explain contract terms, and lead engaging inductions for new staff.
- Facilitate appraisals, run toolbox safety and HR sessions, and document disciplinary actions.
- Prepare and verify payroll inputs, process leave requests, generate payslips and submit statutory returns (NAPSA, NHIMA, ZRA, WCFCB).
- Maintain accurate employee files, prepare monthly client service reports, and represent TopFloor at client events and networking sessions.
Required profile
- Diploma in Human Resource Management (degree preferred) and at least 1 year of relevant HR experience.
- Member of the Zambia Institute of Human Resource Management (ZIHRM).
- Strong knowledge of Zambian labour laws and statutory compliance.
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Fluent in English and at least one major local language; valid driver’s licence and ability to travel across client sites.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Working knowledge of Sage Pastel payroll software.
- Experience using Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Calendar, Drive).
