About the role
We are looking for a diligent Accounts Clerk to join our finance team in Ndola. You will play a key part in processing invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month‑end reporting for a leading fire safety solutions provider.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and record all financial transactions.
- Maintain petty cash, perform reconciliations and ensure proper documentation.
- Update ledgers, reconcile accounts and assist with credit control activities, including follow‑up on outstanding payments.
- Prepare basic financial summaries and assist in audit documentation.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure timely financial information.
Required profile
- Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Practical experience in bookkeeping, petty‑cash management and credit control.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Integrity, reliability and willingness to learn about fire‑protection compliance.
Required skills
- SAGE PASTEL accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel (advanced spreadsheet functions).
