Electrician – Residential & Commercial (Chongwe)

About the role

Lucilumi Enterprise is seeking a skilled and reliable electrician to join its technical services team in Chongwe District. You will work on a variety of residential, commercial and property‑maintenance projects, ensuring electrical systems are installed, maintained and repaired to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and perform effective troubleshooting.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and testing of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections and installations.
• Collaborate with supervisors, contractors and other team members to complete projects efficiently.

Required profile

• Certificate, diploma or trade qualification in electrical installation or a related field.
• Valid electrician licence or certification where applicable.
• Proven experience in residential, commercial or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring and safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
