Procurement Officer – MRO Sourcing Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Officer – MRO Sourcing Specialist will support the procurement team in acquiring maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) spare parts essential for uninterrupted production. The role focuses on cost‑effective sourcing, supplier relationship management and ensuring high quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Secure timely delivery of all procured MRO materials and services in line with operational needs.
• Monitor supplier quality, drive corrective actions and improve delivery performance.
• Develop, assess and manage supplier resources based on cost, quality, delivery and reliability.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations and finance departments to align procurement activities with business requirements.
• Track purchase orders, resolve delays, shortages or discrepancies proactively.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function, especially in MRO sourcing and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in MRO (spare parts) sourcing.
• Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work across teams and with external suppliers.
• High level of responsibility, accountability and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
