Project Manager – Job Expo

About the role

HRLeverage Zambia is looking for a highly organized, commercially minded Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of the Zambia Job Expo. You will be responsible for driving sponsor acquisition, government and institutional partnerships, exhibitor coordination, and overall event execution.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage the full project plan for the Job Expo, ensuring timelines and milestones are met.
• Identify, secure, and manage sponsorships and strategic partnerships.
• Engage with government ministries, learning institutions, and corporate partners.
• Coordinate exhibitor and employer participation, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Drive audience and participant engagement through targeted outreach.
• Align marketing and communications activities with event objectives.
• Lead and coordinate the project team, fostering collaboration.
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on project performance and outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, Event Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in project or events management, corporate partnerships, or business development.
• Experience working with government institutions and corporate sponsors is highly desirable.
• Project Management certification is an advantage.
