Wellness Coordinator

About the role

The Wellness Coordinator is a key leadership position within the Site Health team, responsible for coordinating wellness activities across the Kansanshi and Kalumbila mine sites. You will work with Fitness, Occupational Health and Health Promotion teams to deliver a holistic wellness strategy for a workforce of over 10,000 employees.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Wellness team and specialist consultants across both mine sites.
• Develop monthly and quarterly wellness plans in partnership with HR, health services and wellness specialists.
• Design and launch high‑impact engagement campaigns, challenges and multi‑site events (e.g., World Health Day).
• Coordinate sensitisation programmes on mental health, stress, fatigue, healthy eating and non‑communicable diseases.
• Deliver talks, webinars and interactive sessions for employees.
• Create IEC materials such as posters, infographics, videos and pamphlets.
• Produce accurate wellness statistics, dashboards and reports to demonstrate impact and ROI.
• Assist in coordinating specialist services including psychology, counselling, nutrition and psychiatry.

Required profile

• Degree in Social Sciences, Health/Allied Health Sciences, organisational psychology or a related field.
• Wellness or life‑coaching certification.
• Preferred: project or operations management experience, Certificate in Coaching or Leadership Development, training in Social Media Management or Digital Campaigns.
• Additional training in organisational psychology, wellness programming, marketing or public health is advantageous.
