AR Query Investigations Agent

About the role

The AR Query Investigations Agent handles, investigates and resolves customer enquiries related to accounts receivable, credit and collections across multiple channels. Working in a call‑center environment, the role ensures high‑quality service while supporting timely cash collection.

Key responsibilities

• Support administration of Credit & Collections and Accounts Receivable OTC activities under moderate supervision.
• Attend to inbound calls and emails, and make outbound contacts as needed to resolve customer queries.
• Log all enquiries accurately in the ERP system and maintain detailed records.
• Promote self‑service options and structure resolutions to prevent recurring issues.
• Handle billing adjustments, liaise with cross‑functional teams, and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Escalate complex cases to senior agents or the AR manager when necessary.
• Assist with resolution of advanced billing queries and participate in customer interactions.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, collections or related customer‑service roles.
• Strong attention to detail, professional communication skills and ability to work under moderate supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP system for logging and tracking queries.
