Country Director of Sales Zambia

About the role

Radisson Hotel Group is seeking a Country Director of Sales for Zambia to lead its sales strategy across all hotel brands in the country. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on leadership to drive profitable revenue, market share and exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a country‑wide sales plan that maximises revenue across leisure, MICE, corporate and events segments.
• Lead and coach hotel sales teams, ensuring alignment with Radisson’s corporate values and service standards.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, both inbound and outbound, and represent the group at industry meetings and trade shows.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse market data and adjust strategies to achieve revenue targets and RGI growth.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (revenue, marketing, operations) and external partners to optimise sales opportunities.

Required profile

• University or tertiary qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in the hotel industry, with at least 3 years in sales account management.
• Proven track record in driving revenue across multiple hotel segments (Leisure, MICE, Corporate, Events).
• Excellent communication skills in English and strong negotiation abilities.
• Commercially astute, results‑driven and able to work independently in a senior leadership role.
