Demand Planning Specialist

About the role

The Demand Planning Specialist will be responsible for delivering accurate 18‑month rolling forecasts, optimizing forecasting models and ensuring alignment across commercial functions. This role supports Coca‑Cola Beverages Zambia’s objective to maintain reliable supply and meet market demand across its African operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and maintain a high‑accuracy 18‑month rolling forecast, integrating market trends, historical sales and promotional activities.
• Refine and optimise statistical forecasting models based on weekly exception reports and data analysis.
• Ensure effective communication and alignment across departments on forecast plans, providing clear visibility and facilitating quick adjustments.
• Drive a data‑driven forecasting process that incorporates analytical tools, exception monitoring and regular performance tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics or a related field (Master's degree is an advantage).
• 3‑4 years of experience developing and maintaining highly accurate forecasts in a fast‑paced, complex FMCG environment.
