Digital Power Business Development

About the role

Huawei Zambia is looking for a dynamic professional to drive business growth and technical excellence for its Digital Power portfolio, which includes solar inverters, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and modular data centres across Zambia and the wider region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, engage and develop new opportunities in residential, commercial‑industrial and utility‑scale projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPCs, distributors, utilities and key accounts.
• Prepare proposals, pricing strategies and techno‑commercial offers in line with Huawei policies.
• Provide pre‑sales technical support: system sizing, solution design and configuration for inverters, BESS and data centres.
• Support installation, commissioning and O&M through guidance, training and product demonstrations.
• Train EPCs, distributors and clients on Huawei Digital Power solutions and tools.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and regulatory developments, feeding insights back to product teams.
• Prepare regular sales and deployment reports and coordinate with internal logistics, finance and R&D teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, ICT or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of combined sales and technical experience in power electronics, renewable energy or data‑centre solutions.
• Proven experience managing C&I or utility‑scale solar/BESS projects is an advantage.
