Ethics, Compliance & Contractor Representative

About the role

The Ethics, Compliance & Contractor Representative ensures KMTR operates in full compliance with laws, regulations, contractual obligations and corporate governance standards across the DRC and Zambia. Reporting to the General Manager, the role safeguards the company's integrity, reputation and contractual interests.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company's ethics and compliance framework and ensure adherence to applicable laws and internal policies.
• Manage whistleblowing mechanisms, conduct compliance investigations and perform regular audits.
• Monitor contractor performance, oversee contract compliance, identify risks and coordinate contract reviews and claims management.
• Support corporate governance processes, conduct risk assessments and report compliance status to executive management.
• Liaise with contractors, legal advisors, regulators and public authorities, assisting in negotiations and dispute resolution.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Law, Business Administration, Compliance or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in compliance, legal, contract management or corporate governance, preferably in infrastructure, construction, transport or PPP projects.
• Experience working in Central Africa, especially the DRC or Zambia.
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, regulatory compliance and risk management.
