Heavy Diesel Technician

About the role

This is a hands‑on role involving servicing, repairs, and maintenance of mining equipment at client sites. You will travel across mine sites, support reline crews, and ensure equipment reliability while upholding the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance of mining equipment.
• Support reline crews during shutdowns and breakdowns.
• Assist workshop teams with assembly, testing, and commissioning.
• Maintain accurate service reports, timesheets, and parts records.
• Build strong client relationships and represent the company professionally.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Current Driver’s Licence (Class C).
• HRWL – Forklift, Dogger, Confined Space Training.
• Minimum 5+ years’ field service experience (electrical, mechanical, or hydraulic).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of mine site operations, hydraulic assembly, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and customer focus.
