Hub Manager – New Markets Expansion

About the role

The Hub Manager (New Markets) will lead the launch and growth of new hubs in untapped African markets. This frontline operational leader will move the project from market validation through pilot and scale‑up phases, ensuring profitability and building a high‑performing local team.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end market launch, from validation to go‑live, securing approved sites.
• Drive aggressive field‑based customer acquisition, targeting 150+ active members within eight weeks of launch.
• Manage customer experience, re‑engage churned members and resolve service issues.
• Recruit, onboard and train the next cohort of Hub Managers and field agents.
• Train teams on core hub operations to sustain growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with Field Service Engineers on technical integrations and issue resolution.
• Gather local market intelligence and adapt sales strategies to cultural contexts.
• Track hub metrics, analyse performance data and implement continuous improvements.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven field‑based sales, customer acquisition and experience management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing frontline sales or field agents.
• Results‑driven, entrepreneurial mindset comfortable with ambiguity.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with cultural sensitivity.
• Willingness to travel extensively and relocate for extended periods across multiple African markets.
