ICT Head & Senior IT Investigations Officer – Anti-Corruption Commission

About the role

The Anti-Corruption Commission of Zambia is recruiting two senior ICT professionals: a Head of Information and Communications Technology and a Senior Investigations Officer – Information Technology. Both positions are essential to ensure reliable ICT services, secure data handling, and effective digital forensic investigations that support the Commission’s mandate to fight corruption.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, configuration, upgrade and maintenance of ICT hardware and software to meet user needs.
• Manage ICT system security, safeguarding institutional data and preventing unauthorized access.
• Provide first‑line support, help‑desk services and network troubleshooting for end‑users.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Lead capacity‑building initiatives for staff to effectively use ICT systems.
• Supervise digital forensic investigations, including collection, preservation, extraction, decryption and analysis of digital evidence.
• Administer investigations software applications and provide technical support for investigative tools.
• Manage human, financial and other resources to achieve unit objectives.

Required profile

• Full Grade Twelve (12) Certificate and a BSc in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Licensed member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia (ICTAZ).
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant post‑qualifying experience, with at least two (2) years in a management role.
• Age between 38 and 44 years.
• Strong communication, analytical, leadership and negotiating abilities.
