Project Team Coordinator – Integrated WASH, Health & Nutrition

About the role

Action Against Hunger USA is seeking a Project Team Coordinator to lead the ECHO‑funded integrated WASH, Health and Nutrition programme in Mantapala, Zambia. The role provides overall strategic direction, ensures high‑quality implementation and strengthens coordination with government, UN agencies and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for integrated WASH‑Health‑Nutrition interventions, aligning with ECHO priorities and national policies.
• Lead planning, execution, work‑plan management, budgeting and procurement while ensuring compliance with ECHO and ACF standards.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, conduct performance management, mentorship and uphold safeguarding policies.
• Coordinate with the Ministry of Health, UN agencies and other partners, representing ACF on coordination platforms and strengthening community engagement.
• Oversee a robust MEAL system, ensuring data quality, analysis, reporting and learning for adaptive programming.
• Ensure technical quality and integration of WASH systems, IPC, sanitation, hygiene promotion and health‑care waste management.
• Manage financial aspects including budget oversight, forecasting, and coordination with finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated WASH, Health and Nutrition projects, preferably in an ECHO‑funded humanitarian context.
• Strong knowledge of gender, protection, safeguarding and accountability standards.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise multidisciplinary teams and manage stakeholder relationships with ministries, UN agencies and NGOs.
• Experience in implementing MEAL frameworks and ensuring data‑driven programme adaptation.
• Solid understanding of financial and grant management processes.
