Project Team Coordinator – Integrated WASH, Health & Nutrition

About the role

Action Against Hunger USA is seeking a Project Team Coordinator to lead the ECHO‑funded integrated WASH, Health and Nutrition project in Mantapala, Zambia. The role provides strategic direction, ensures high‑quality implementation, and strengthens coordination with government, UN agencies and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for integrated WASH‑Health‑Nutrition interventions, aligning with ECHO priorities and national policies.
• Lead planning, execution, work‑plan and budget management, ensuring compliance with donor and organisational standards.
• Supervise multidisciplinary teams, conduct performance management and promote safeguarding compliance.
• Coordinate with Ministry of Health, UN agencies and local partners, representing ACF in coordination platforms and strengthening community engagement.
• Oversee a robust MEAL system, ensuring data quality, analysis, reporting and learning for adaptive programming.
• Ensure technical quality and integration of water systems, sanitation, hygiene promotion, IPC and healthcare waste management.
• Manage financial and grant aspects, including budgeting, forecasting and coordination with finance and logistics teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading integrated WASH, health and nutrition projects in humanitarian settings.
• Strong knowledge of donor requirements (e.g., ECHO), gender, protection, safeguarding and accountability standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multi‑stakeholder partnerships.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills to support MEAL processes.
