Property Manager – Institutional Investment Portfolios

About the role

Prudential Pensions Management Zambia is seeking a Property Manager to oversee the property assets held within institutional investment portfolios. The role sits in the Investment Department and focuses on ensuring properties are well‑managed, compliant, financially controlled and aligned with client mandates.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day performance and administration of properties in assigned institutional portfolios.
• Ensure properties meet professional, legal, regulatory and investment standards.
• Monitor occupancy, rental income, lease obligations, operating costs, arrears and maintenance requirements.
• Develop and maintain property management plans that reflect each client’s investment strategy.
• Identify and escalate operational issues or opportunities affecting performance, income or capital value.
• Coordinate property inspections and timely resolution of identified issues.
• Maintain professional relationships with tenants and stakeholders, overseeing lease terms, renewals, rent reviews and break clauses.
• Administer lease events proactively and manage rental collections and arrears.

Required profile

• Relevant qualification in property management, real estate, finance or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing property assets for institutional clients.
• Strong understanding of legal, regulatory and investment standards applicable to property portfolios.
• Ability to analyse performance indicators and prepare management plans.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
