Radiographer / Radiography Technologist – Solwezi

About the role

Gladtidings Diagnostic Center is seeking a qualified Radiographer/Radiography Technologist to join its team in Solwezi, Zambia. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality diagnostic imaging services while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations, including ECG and ultrasound studies.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiography equipment safely and accurately.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining steps and ensuring their comfort.
• Maintain accurate patient records, safeguarding confidentiality.
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to provide optimal patient care.

Required profile

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Diploma or degree in Radiography/Radiography Technology from a recognized institution.
• Full registration with the Health Professionals Council of Zambia (HPCZ) and a valid practicing licence.
• Minimum three years of experience in a busy diagnostic centre or hospital.
• Zambian nationality.
• Fluent in English and at least three local languages.
• Team‑player attitude with strong customer service orientation.
