Regional Lead – Asset Management

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Lead for Asset Management to provide strategic leadership and expert guidance in optimizing maintenance practices across First Quantum’s operations in the region. The role will drive continuous improvement, align asset performance with organisational goals, and foster a culture of innovation and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement best‑practice frameworks for asset reliability and maintenance optimisation.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, influencing site management to adopt predictive, preventive and condition‑based maintenance techniques.
• Drive change management initiatives and long‑term strategic planning for asset lifecycle management.
• Oversee performance metrics, statistical analysis and failure prediction to minimise downtime.
• Manage projects, budgets and resource allocation to ensure cost‑efficient operations.
• Promote Lean, Kaizen and emerging technologies to continuously improve processes.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of progressive experience in maintenance or asset management.
• Proven leadership with a visionary, influencing style.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Collaborative, coaching approach with excellent communication skills.
