Sales Manager – Zambia (Perfumes & Cosmetics)

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead SD Group’s sales operations across Zambia, focusing on perfumes and cosmetics. You will drive revenue growth, expand market presence and build strong relationships with wholesalers, retailers and other distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue and profitability targets, and identify new business opportunities.
• Lead, coach and monitor a sales team, set targets and KPIs, and conduct field visits to support customer acquisition.
• Manage relationships with key customers, negotiate agreements, and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate product availability, promotional campaigns and merchandising standards across territories.
• Work with warehouse and supply‑chain teams on inventory planning, stock replenishment and demand forecasting.
• Analyse sales data, prepare forecasts, budgets and performance reports for senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or related field; MBA is a plus.
• 5‑7 years of sales experience in perfumes, cosmetics or FMCG, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience working with distributors, wholesalers and retail networks in the Zambian market.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience using ERP and CRM systems.
