Sales & Technical Support Representative – Copperbelt Region

About the role

Plantlife Zambia is seeking a dynamic Sales & Technical Support Representative to expand its presence in the Copperbelt Region. You will combine sales expertise with hands‑on technical assistance to help farmers and agro‑dealers adopt innovative agricultural solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive commercial sales across the full Plantlife product portfolio.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with agro‑dealers and farmers.
• Identify new business opportunities and onboard new customers in the Copperbelt region.
• Service and support existing clients, providing on‑farm technical advice.
• Conduct in‑store merchandising activities to boost product visibility.
• Respond promptly to customer inquiries and deliver pre‑ and post‑sales technical support.
• Organise field days, demonstration plots and farmer training sessions.
• Evaluate product development trials and monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum two years proven experience in agricultural sales or technical field support.
• Experience in crop management, technical advisory services or agricultural input sales.
• Valid Class A motorbike licence with at least one year confident riding experience in rural/field environments.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Farmer‑focused mindset with a passion for sustainable agricultural development.
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Fluency in Bemba or other local Copperbelt languages is an advantage.
