Senior Technical Advisor – Platform Architecture Design

About the role

Parenting for Lifelong Health is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor to lead the redesign of its digital platform. This remote consultancy will provide strategic technical leadership, develop a target solution architecture, and oversee implementation to improve scalability, performance, and user engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct a 4‑day Technical Architecture Design Workshop to review the current system, validate requirements, and define a technical blueprint.
• Produce a comprehensive Solution Architecture & Technical Design Specification covering application architecture, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, security model, deployment approach, and engineering standards.
• Provide milestone‑based implementation oversight through four technical design reviews, delivering written recommendations.
• Complete a final technical review and handover report.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of senior technical leadership experience (CTO, VP Engineering, Chief Architect, or equivalent).
• Proven track record advising on large‑scale application rebuilds, platform modernization, or enterprise digital transformation.
• Extensive experience facilitating technical architecture workshops with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
