Specialist, Training - Metal Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist in Training for our Metal Fabrication workshop. The role will design, deliver and assess training programmes for metal fabrication trainees, ensuring they become competent and safe operators.

Key responsibilities

• Train and certify Metal Fabrication Trainees on‑the‑job.
• Develop and maintain training aids such as manuals, handbooks and assessment tools.
• Deliver training using classroom instruction, virtual sessions and on‑site coaching.
• Monitor trainee progress, compile reports and provide feedback to management.
• Maintain training records and ensure workshop housekeeping standards.
• Coordinate off‑site training activities and liaise with external training suppliers.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 certificate.
• Technician Certificate in Metal Fabrication Trade.
• Diploma in Teaching Methodology from a recognised institution.
• Member of EIZTeveta accredited trainer/assessor.
