Applications Support Analyst

About the role

The Applications Support Analyst provides 1st and 2nd line technical support for both new and existing business systems at Prudential Life Assurance Zambia. The role ensures incidents, service requests, and system issues are resolved quickly to minimise disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Incident management, troubleshooting and code‑level support, including log analysis, database queries and code fixes.
• Develop, test and deploy minor application enhancements, bug fixes and patches.
• Maintain application codebases, scripts, APIs and integrations to ensure stability and performance.
• Execute SQL queries, perform data fixes and validate data to preserve data integrity.
• Collaborate with end users, internal IT teams and third‑party vendors to monitor application performance and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Experience providing 1st and 2nd line technical support for business applications.
• Strong analytical skills for incident resolution and code‑level troubleshooting.
• Ability to work closely with end users, IT teams and external vendors.
