Brand & Marketing Specialist

About the role

Yara Fertilizer Zambia Limited is seeking a hands‑on Brand & Marketing Specialist to drive the implementation of marketing plans, manage brand identity, and coordinate product launches across Zambia. The role reports to the General Manager – Zambia Cluster and involves close collaboration with internal teams, agencies, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive implementation of agreed marketing plans and maintain marketing content aligned with crop calendars.
• Plan and execute new product launches, campaigns, and social‑media initiatives, ensuring consistent brand representation.
• Coordinate agency support, manage supplier relationships, and oversee event logistics, acting as the brand point of contact at exhibitions.
• Track campaign performance, evaluate results, and provide recommendations for future activities.
• Maintain internal communications to keep all functions informed of marketing objectives and ensure consistency in outbound messaging.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications and manage the department budget.

Required profile

• University degree or diploma in Marketing or a related field (post‑graduate degree is an advantage).
• Minimum 2‑3 years of experience in a marketing function, preferably with exposure to market research, events coordination, and brand implementation in Zambia.
• Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
• Valid driver’s licence with 2‑3 years of manual‑transmission driving experience and ability to travel locally/regionally.
