About the role
The Brewing Operator is responsible for running the manual brewing plant, supporting the Brewing Technician Artisan, and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Operate manual brewing equipment according to work instructions and plant control guidelines.
- Monitor process performance, record short stops, and initiate corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Document waste, product movement, and quality check results in the designated information systems.
- Perform autonomous maintenance tasks, including simple valve replacements, cleaning, lubrication, and inspections.
- Identify and report defective plant components to the Process Artisan or Team Leader.
- Apply problem‑solving methods such as the 5Y’s and quick‑fix routines to resolve quality or production issues.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following 4S principles and correcting unsafe practices.
Required profile
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written work instructions.
- Willingness to work shifts in a brewing production environment.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Required skills
- Operation of manual brewing equipment.
- Process monitoring and performance recording.
- Quality control checks and data entry.
- Basic autonomous maintenance (cleaning, lubrication, simple part replacement).
- Problem‑solving using 5Y’s methodology.
