Building Materials Sales Manager

About the role

KEDA Ceramics Company Ltd, a leading African manufacturer of ceramic tiles, is seeking an experienced Building Materials Sales Manager to lead its sales operations across Africa. The role focuses on driving team performance, market intelligence, and compliance while supporting the growth of sanitary ware and related products.

Key responsibilities

• Team Management: supervise the Kenya light cargo sanitary ware team, allocate tasks, foster a high‑performance atmosphere, and ensure timely, quality delivery of assignments.
• Market & Policy Support: gather market data to inform business decisions, assist in developing operational policies, and support policy implementation.
• Training & Development: design and deliver structured training programs, conduct regular departmental meetings, and enhance team capabilities.
• Reporting & Compliance: report team performance and operational updates to supervisors, enforce strict adherence to company rules, and maintain discipline within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
• Proven experience in cargo operations, logistics, transportation, or sanitary ware distribution.
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and operational procedures.
• Strong team collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational abilities and a demonstrated ability to follow company policies.
