Business Development Associate

About the role

Petropipe is seeking a Business Development Associate / Sales Engineer to expand its market presence in the energy, petrochemical, power, mining and related industrial sectors. The role combines technical knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation products with proactive sales activities to generate new business and nurture existing customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and generate RFQs across assigned regions.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis and support overall business development initiatives.
• Handle customer inquiries, prepare techno‑commercial quotations, proposals and presentations.
• Coordinate with manufacturers for technical and commercial support.
• Negotiate orders, follow up on offers and drive closure of sales opportunities.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the order lifecycle.
• Support order execution, timely delivery and payment follow‑ups.
• Monitor market trends in O&G, mining, power, cement and related industries.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in industrial sales or trading of mechanical and instrumentation products.
• Good communication, negotiation and customer coordination abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and capable of working independently.
