Business Development Specialist

About the role

Sutsol Hitec Solutions, a Botswana‑based energy and infrastructure consultancy, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand its presence in Zambia. The role is a long‑term, commission‑based partnership, offering flexibility for part‑time or full‑time engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the telecom, banking and mining sectors in Zambia.
• Leverage existing relationships to generate leads, negotiate contracts and close deals.
• Provide market insights and strategic recommendations to support the consultancy’s growth.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align proposals with the company’s energy and sustainability services.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a business developer in Zambia.
• Strong network in telecoms, banking or mining.
• Familiarity with energy or sustainability concepts is a plus.
• Self‑motivated and comfortable working on a commission‑based model.
