About the role

The Avani Victoria Falls Resort is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join its engineering team. You will support the hotel’s preventive maintenance program, ensuring that carpentry work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Complete activities on the preventive maintenance schedule as defined in hotel plans.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area after each task.
• Care for all tools and equipment provided by the hotel, ensuring proper storage at the end of each shift.
• Participate actively in the hotel’s energy‑conservation initiatives and suggest cost‑saving ideas.
• Follow all safety procedures and use environmentally‑friendly products where possible.
• Communicate effectively with the Shift Leader throughout the shift.

Required profile

• Ability to perform carpentry tasks in a hotel environment.
• Commitment to safety standards and clean work practices.
• Willingness to contribute to energy‑saving and cost‑efficiency programs.
