Chemical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Chemical Engineer to join our team and help improve processes and equipment across our plant operations. The role involves conducting research studies, designing innovative solutions, and overseeing the implementation and troubleshooting of procedures to boost efficiency and maintain a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct research studies to support process improvements, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Design innovative solutions for plant equipment and processes, focusing on performance and reliability.
• Oversee the seamless implementation of new procedures and troubleshoot any issues that arise during rollout.
• Collaborate closely with a team of skilled engineers to identify and evaluate opportunities for plant enhancements.
• Develop and execute effective plans that optimise production efficiency while ensuring safety standards are met.
• Monitor and analyse process performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within an engineering team.
