Client Service Executive

About the role

The Client Service Executive will manage a portfolio of insurance clients, handling underwriting, claims, relationship management and sales activities. The role focuses on driving revenue growth while ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with industry regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Daily servicing of client portfolios, including policy reviews and endorsements.
• Issue closings, alterations, invoices and credit notes to insurers as required.
• Register and process reported claims with insurers and support uninsured loss recoveries.
• Conduct regular client meetings to update them on portfolio developments.
• Load sales opportunities into the system and pursue new business through prospecting and networking.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and customise insurance solutions.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.
• Work with cross‑functional teams (underwriting, claims, customer service) to ensure seamless delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Insurance from CII, ISA, ZII or other recognised bodies; a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with at least two years’ insurance experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of short‑term commercial insurance products, markets and trends.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven capability to build and maintain relationships with clients, brokers and underwriters.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience using CRM software.
