Data Control & Compliance Officer

About the role

The Data Control & Compliance Officer will support the Tracking department by ensuring data integrity, monitoring compliance with standard operating procedures, and managing violation records for fleet operations. This role reports to the Head of Tracking and may act as the interim head when required.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and regularly update SOPs, ensuring strict adherence.
• Compile weekly violation reports and forward them to management.
• Track each violation case to closure and maintain a rebuttal report database.
• Maintain a database of dismissal and suspension cases related to fleet personnel.
• Collect and analyse movement and halt status data to produce accurate staff reports.
• Maintain the attendance register for the tracking team.
• Assist the Head of Tracking in enforcing discipline within the tracking room.
• Enter, update, and manage driver and asset information in the Nova application.
• Serve as acting Head of Tracking during the incumbent’s absence.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Systems, Transport & Logistics, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and demonstrate strong time‑management.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to take on additional responsibilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using the Nova application for data entry and maintenance.
