Deputy Manager Marketing Operations and CSR & Sustainability

About the role

The Deputy Manager will support the Brand, Marketing and Communications Manager in delivering integrated marketing, brand and communications operations for Prudential Life Assurance Zambia. The role focuses on driving stakeholder engagement, ensuring compliance with Zambia’s data protection and accessibility standards, and advancing CSR and sustainability initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Execute internal and external communications strategies, creating newsletters, website copy, brochures, press releases, executive speeches and briefing materials.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to strengthen brand equity and market presence.
• Plan, implement and measure CSR initiatives that build goodwill, trust and measurable community impact.
• Lead sustainability and climate‑resilience messaging, aligning communications with the long‑term corporate strategy.
• Support business development through proposal coordination, marketing collateral creation, events and campaign support.
• Plan, schedule, track and prioritise marketing activities, campaigns and deliverables.
• Manage storage, issuance and quarterly inventory of all marketing collateral, including corporate gifts, clothing and branded materials.
• Prepare reports, manage budgets, monitor compliance and ensure accurate documentation of marketing activities.

Required profile

• Reports to the Manager – Brand, Marketing & Communications.
• Based in Lusaka, Zambia.
• Must ensure compliance with Zambia’s data protection and accessibility standards.
