Electronic Technician

About the role

TOP ONE SECURITY COMPANY LIMITED is seeking an Electronic Technician to join its hybrid team in Lusaka. The role involves assembling, maintaining, and repairing electronic systems that support the company’s security operations. You will work both on‑site and remotely, ensuring high‑quality technical support for critical security infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and configure electronic components and systems used in security solutions.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electronic and electrical faults, performing root‑cause analysis.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and functional testing to guarantee system reliability.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, technical standards, and company procedures.
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and test results in technical logs and reports.

Required profile

• Solid knowledge of electronics technology and hands‑on soldering experience.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities for both electronic and electrical systems.
• Understanding of electricity principles and practical maintenance & repair techniques.
• Attention to detail with a focus on precision, safety, and adherence to technical manuals.
• Relevant certification or diploma in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; prior experience with security systems is an advantage.
