Engineering Trainee Programme – 2‑Year Academy Engineer

About the role

BIABIA Group is offering a two‑year Academy Engineer programme for recent engineering graduates. The role provides hands‑on exposure to engineering operations, equipment maintenance and project management within a mining and heavy‑equipment environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support engineering and technical service activities, including preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of heavy equipment.
• Participate in project planning, safety compliance and documentation of maintenance procedures.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with demonstrated leadership potential.

Required skills

• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, Trello, Asana or Jira.
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum or Waterfall methodologies and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
