Feed Mill Production Supervisor

About the role

Our client is looking for a hands‑on Feed Mill Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at a feed manufacturing facility. The role ensures that feed products are produced efficiently, on schedule, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule and coordinate production staff to maintain smooth workflow.
• Oversee mixing, grinding, pelleting and packaging processes.
• Monitor output to meet volume, efficiency and quality targets.
• Ensure compliance with formulation, quality control and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Train, coach and evaluate team members, promoting safety and teamwork.
• Maintain production records, reports and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics and quality assurance to optimise workflow.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

Required profile

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Minimum 3 years experience in feed‑mill production or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of occupational health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
