About the role

The Field Technician will support the Sales and Marketing Department by engaging directly with farmers and driving seed sales within a designated catchment area. Reporting to the Regional Sales Agronomist, the incumbent will combine agronomic advice with promotional activities to increase product adoption.

Key responsibilities

Plan and execute sales and marketing activities under the guidance of the Regional Sales Agronomist.
Provide farmers with recommendations on best agronomic practices.
Promote and sell seed varieties to farmers and external agencies.
Organise and conduct field demonstrations, field days and other key events.

Required profile

Certificate or Diploma in General Agriculture or an equivalent qualification.
Member of the Agriculture Institute of Zambia.
Valid motorbike licence.
