Finance Director

About the role

The Finance Director will lead the finance function of KMTR, ensuring financial integrity, performance and long‑term sustainability while supporting the General Manager in strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the company’s financial strategy, advise on planning, investment decisions and performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑term financial planning and monitor KPIs through management reporting.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, cash‑flow, working capital, tax management and ensure statutory compliance.
• Maintain robust internal controls, audit readiness and risk management.
• Manage relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities, shareholders and external advisors.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team and oversee administrative services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in infrastructure, transport, mining, energy or PPP projects.
• Mandatory experience in Central Africa, preferably DRC and/or Zambia.
• Proven ability to work with international shareholders, auditors, lenders and government authorities.
