Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager is the senior financial leader for Impala Terminals Zambia Ltd, overseeing the full spectrum of financial management, reporting, compliance and treasury functions. Reporting to the Country Manager, the role provides accurate and timely financial information to support strategic and operational decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and report the full balance sheet each month, ensuring all accounts are reconciled and documented.
• Supervise day‑to‑day accounting activities, including invoice approval, journal entries and tax computations.
• Provide line management to the Procurement Officer and ensure procurement processes follow group policies and budgets.
• Manage petty cash, maintaining limits, documentation and weekly reconciliations.
• Lead month‑end close, prepare and present financial performance reports to local, regional and global management.
• Develop operational KPI‑to‑financial performance bridges and reconcile logistics metrics to revenue and cost lines.
• Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, monitor performance and deliver variance analysis.
• Ensure statutory tax compliance and timely statutory reporting.

Required profile

• Senior financial leader with experience in full‑cycle accounting and balance‑sheet management.
• Proven ability to partner with operational teams and support strategic decision‑making.
• Strong supervisory skills, including line management of procurement functions.
• Demonstrated competence in budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
