HSSEQ Officer

About the role

Alistair Group is seeking a dedicated HSSEQ Officer to manage day‑to‑day health, safety, security, environment and quality operations across its logistics network. You will provide technical support to ensure the effective implementation of HSSEQ management systems and promote a strong safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver HSSEQ campaigns, training and awareness programs.
• Organise internal and external HSSEQ audits, support execution and close‑out corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance, track risks and report deviations to minimise hazards.
• Lead incident, accident and near‑miss investigations, identify root causes and drive preventive actions.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and compliance monitoring.
• Maintain HSSEQ records, reports and statutory documentation.
• Support emergency drills, response planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide HSSEQ guidance to operational teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly performance reports for management decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 22301.
• Strong knowledge of risk‑assessment methodologies.
• Excellent written communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Advanced computer literacy and data‑management skills.
