We are expanding our business development network and inviting motivated, ambitious, and results-oriented individuals to join us as Independent Business Consultants on a commission-based arrangement.

Position Overview

The Independent Business Consultant will be responsible for marketing and promoting LBCCI's training programmes, identifying prospective clients, securing training opportunities, and building relationships with organisations and individuals interested in professional development.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong communication, networking, marketing, and sales skills who wish to earn commission based on their performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Market and promote LBCCI's training programmes and professional development services.
• Identify and approach potential clients, including government institutions, private companies, NGOs, SMEs, educational institutions, and individuals.
• Present the LBCCI prospectus, training programmes, and service offerings to prospective clients.
• Identify organisational training needs and facilitate discussions on suitable training solutions.
• Arrange meetings, presentations, and appointments with prospective clients.
• Schedule and coordinate training engagements in collaboration with LBCCI.
• Generate leads, follow up on enquiries, and convert prospects into confirmed training clients.
• Promote customised and tailor-made training programmes based on organisational needs.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Provide regular updates on sales leads, client engagements, and business development activities.

Training Services to Be Promoted

1. Short Courses Training – Practical, skills-based training designed to enhance professional competence and workplace performance.
2. Corporate Training – Professional development programmes designed to strengthen organisational performance, employee capacity, and institutional effectiveness.
3. Tailor-Made Training – Customised training solutions developed around the specific needs, objectives, and challenges of individual organisations.

Commission and Remuneration

This is an exclusively commission-based engagement. There is no fixed monthly salary.

• Consultants earn commission from eligible business they successfully generate in accordance with LBCCI's agreed commission structure.
• Earning potential depends on the number and value of confirmed training engagements secured.
• There is an opportunity to develop a strong client network and generate ongoing income through business development and repeat engagements.
• Commission rates, qualifying sales, payment conditions, and payment timelines will be communicated and agreed upon before engagement.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate; additional qualifications in Business Management, Marketing, Sales, Public Relations, or related fields will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to identify business opportunities and engage decision-makers professionally.
• Confidence in approaching organisations and presenting professional training services.
• Good networking, relationship management, and client acquisition skills.
• Self-motivation, integrity, professionalism, and a results-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Access to a professional network of organisations or potential clients will be an added advantage.
