Intern Salesperson

About the role

Lucilumi Engineering is looking for an enthusiastic Intern Salesperson to join its on‑site team in Lusaka Province, Zambia. This full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience supporting the sales function within an advanced electrical engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential customers and industry trends.
• Prepare and tailor sales presentations for client meetings.
• Assist the sales team with outreach activities across multiple channels.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
• Support the preparation of sales proposals and follow‑up documentation.
• Participate in sales strategy discussions and customer engagement initiatives.

Required profile

• Strong sales and marketing aptitude with effective communication skills.
• Analytical mindset for market analysis and opportunity identification.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Adaptable, proactive attitude and willingness to learn quickly.
• Currently enrolled in or holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Willingness to work on‑site and engage directly with clients; prior sales experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
