Key Account Manager (2 openings)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Key Account Manager to join our growing team in Zambia. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key customers, coordinating with internal teams and driving sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new business by analysing account potential, initiating and closing sales, and recommending new applications and strategies.
• Identify opportunities within existing accounts through interviews, needs assessment and competitive analysis.
• Build relationships with prospects, qualify leads and schedule appointments.
• Present product and service enhancements, introduce new offerings and prepare specifications with product engineering.
• Close sales by overcoming objections and preparing contracts.
• Contribute to sales strategies by monitoring product performance, customer feedback and competitor activity.
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge through continuous learning and professional networking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business administration or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of sales experience with a record of exceeding quotas.
• Proven ability to communicate and influence stakeholders at all organisational levels, including C‑level executives.
• Experience delivering client‑focused solutions and identifying new business opportunities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
