Managing Director

About the role

The Managing Director (MD) will provide strategic leadership and vision for Kariba Minerals Limited, a leading producer of high‑quality amethyst. Reporting to the Board, the MD will drive the company’s commercial development, operational excellence, and cultural transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Work with the Board to develop and implement the organisational strategy and policy options.
• Lead senior management to ensure alignment with the company’s vision, mission and strategic objectives.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring cost‑effective performance, safety, health, environment and quality standards.
• Monitor financial performance, asset utilisation and profitability, ensuring sustainable growth.
• Represent the company with all internal and external stakeholders, including the Board.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mining, industrial processing or production environments.
• Proven track record in senior commercial and operational leadership.
• Strong people‑management capabilities and ability to drive cultural change.
