Mechanical Artisan

About the role

The Mechanical Artisan is responsible for keeping packaging and production equipment in optimal condition. You will work closely with shift‑based teams to ensure reliable performance through inspections, corrective actions, and continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Provide operational support to shift teams, attending daily packaging meetings and coaching operators on equipment use and fault resolution.
• Execute planned maintenance tasks according to the schedule, reporting any delays or rescheduling needs to the maintenance planner.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and inspections, addressing any issues uncovered during these activities.
• Carry out running repairs, assess problems, and determine appropriate corrective actions or escalation.
• Apply problem‑solving methodologies to identify root causes and contribute to the Zero‑Based Maintenance budget.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, tags, and backlog items.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical equipment maintenance within an industrial setting.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and familiarity with root‑cause analysis.
• Effective communication skills for coaching operators and collaborating with teams.
• Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
