Media Volunteer – Full‑time, Lusaka

About the role

TYME is looking for a dedicated Media Volunteer to join its Chrysalis Hub in Lusaka Province, Zambia. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the organization’s mission to empower youth by planning, executing, and amplifying media initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement media strategies that increase audience engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communication team to align media activities with overall campaigns.
• Conduct research and gather insights to guide media planning and content creation.
• Document events, produce multimedia content, and support storytelling to showcase TYME’s impact.
• Utilise new media channels to broaden reach and ensure programs reach the intended audience effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience in media planning and new media execution.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
• Marketing background with a solid understanding of social media platforms and digital outreach.
• Ability to conduct research and translate insights into actionable media plans.
• Passion for youth empowerment and commitment to TYME’s mission.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lusaka Province, Zambia.
