Operations and Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Operations & Maintenance Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable and efficient operation and maintenance of the KMTR concession assets, reporting to the General Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient daily operation of the toll road, border posts and associated infrastructure.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to optimise asset lifecycle.
• Monitor operational performance, service quality and KPIs, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage maintenance contractors, technical service providers and operational budgets.
• Lead, coach and develop O&M teams in Zambia and DRC, fostering a safety‑first culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure operations and maintenance, preferably in highways, transport or mining assets.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams in Central Africa (DRC and/or Zambia).
