Partnership Specialist

About the role

The Partnership Specialist will develop and implement Plan International Zambia's Partnership Strategy, ensuring effective selection, onboarding and capacity building of partners. This role supports the Country Strategy by coordinating initial engagements and maintaining compliance with partner due‑diligence procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute the partnership strategy, including manuals and tools for partner capacity building.
• Lead the selection, onboarding and initial engagement of partners, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and due‑diligence processes.
• Monitor and evaluate partnership performance, using M&E research to set targets and adaptively manage results.
• Provide technical guidance and support to partners to enhance project impact and advocacy initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, Communication or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience working with diverse partners in development or humanitarian contexts.
• Proven ability to design and lead impactful projects, with strong monitoring, evaluation, research and learning expertise.
• Excellent partnership management and team leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience developing partnership strategies, manuals and capacity‑building tools.
• Strong knowledge of partner due‑diligence and safeguarding procedures.
• Ability to use monitoring, evaluation and learning methodologies to track and improve results.
